Job Description
SmithRx is seeking a dedicated Partner Relationship Manager to join our growing Health-Tech company. In this remote role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the success and fostering strong collaborations with our TPA and Data Partners. You will serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging your expertise in healthcare benefits and technical data exchange to support our mutual clients.
Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining robust relationships with partner operational leadership, understanding their business and technical challenges, and orchestrating internal teams to ensure seamless data administration. You will proactively identify risks, manage partner expectations, and drive the resolution of escalated issues, ultimately contributing to high levels of partner satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure complete post go-live success and collaboration with TPA and Data Partners.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner for Partners’ operational leadership.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of business and technical challenges faced by partners.
- Apply cross-functional project management to drive resolution for escalated partner issues.
- Identify product gaps and manage partner expectations.
- Assess and prioritize issues that may lead to partner attrition risk.
- Coordinate customization, product development requests, or new product education with partners.
- Troubleshoot and coordinate resolution of partner issues.
- Leverage SmithRx resources to provide relevant adoption, best practices, and technical recommendations.
- Drive initiatives from concept to fruition, focusing on governance, adoption, and standardization.
- Meet with Partners frequently to advance the relationship and uncover new opportunities.
- Work with internal and external cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of working knowledge of healthcare benefits, pharmacy benefits, or commercial health insurance.
- 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably in Customer Success or Account Management.
- 3+ years of working experience with technical data file exchange (EDI or ETL).
- Bachelor’s and Advanced Degree in a related field strongly preferred.
- An obsession with customer experience and customer satisfaction.
- A passion for solving difficult problems collaboratively.
- Executive-level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in relationship management ensuring expectations and deliverables are documented and met.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of an extended, cross-functional team.
