Job Description

We are seeking two experienced Senior Accountants to join our growing team in Ibadan.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reconciling bank statements regularly, ensuring financial accuracy.

You will produce monthly management accounts and reports, providing crucial insights into financial performance.

Monitoring and analyzing production costing will be a key part of your duties, alongside tracking weekly departmental productivity against targets.

You will also manage accounts receivable and payable, and oversee store records and inventory control.

Processing staff wages in collaboration with HR and conducting periodic market surveys are also included in your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and reconcile bank statements regularly
Produce monthly management accounts and reports

Track weekly departmental productivity against targets and report performance
Monitor sales team performance (weekly, fortnightly, and monthly reviews)
Maintain shop accounts and monthly stock records
Manage accounts receivable and payable
Oversee store records and inventory control

Conduct periodic market surveys for production materials and pricing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–5 years accounting experience (manufacturing experience is a strong advantage)
Solid understanding of costing, inventory, and basic financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work in a structured, performance-driven environment
