You will be responsible for a range of essential accounting functions, including assisting with statutory returns, bank and general ledger reconciliations, and month-end processes. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, directly influencing strategic decision-making.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of Business Activity Statements
- Assist in the preparation of tax and other statutory returns
- Assist with the preparation of bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end processes and the publication of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts compliant with accounting standards
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting, providing insightful analysis to support decision making
- Reconciliation of sub-ledgers to general ledger accounts. Maintain the integrity of financial records
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and reports
- Working with the Accounts Payable ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoice information
- Management of corporate credit cards
- Complete general ledger reconciliations
- Manage all PPSRs for the company
- Managing entity data migration between ERP systems
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
- Support the month-end process, to ensure a smooth and timely completion
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting
- 3+ years accounting experience in a commercial environment
- Joint venture accounting experience
- Highly skilled in Pronto, Redmap, EPM and Accurri
- Experience working in the mining and/or resource sector
