Job Description

Embark on an exceptional career journey with the DOF Australia Engineering Vacation Student Program for 2026/27. This paid, 12-week summer placement is your prime opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience, contribute to significant real-world projects, and become an integral part of a world-leading organization in the offshore energy sector.

You will work within both our Project Engineering and Design Engineering teams, engaging directly with critical subsea engineering tasks. DOF is deeply committed to nurturing future engineering talent, recognizing that aspiring professionals are key to our sustained success. We are actively seeking students pursuing degrees in Ocean Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Civil/Structural Engineering, as recognized by Engineers Australia. Your proactive nature, demonstrated initiative, passion for your field, collaborative spirit, and strong communication and analytical skills will be highly valued.

  • Currently in your 3rd Year or Penultimate year of study in Engineering or Naval Architecture.

  • A strong communicator with analytical thinking skills.
