Job Description

Join LawY as the second-in-command to our Head of Marketing, contributing to a dynamic startup within an established global business that is pioneering AI in legal technology.

This role is instrumental in shaping LawY's growth trajectory, aiming to scale our customer base significantly over the next year. You will be responsible for building and executing global marketing campaigns within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

This is a flexible, hybrid position based in Sydney, requiring two days per week in the office, offering a blend of strategic input and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategize, execute, optimize, and amplify end-to-end marketing campaigns across content, email, events, and partnerships.
  • Manage stakeholders across functions and present to senior leadership when necessary.
  • Champion the brand story by developing voice, defining messaging, and crafting compelling copy.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and sales teams to drive key marketing objectives.
  • Monitor performance, advocate for methodical testing and optimization, and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Assist with ad hoc marketing and support tasks across the team.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in B2B marketing roles, preferably in a startup, scale-up, agency, or tech environment.
  • Experience in startup or scale-up environments where adaptability to changing goals is key.
  • Some team management experience.
  • Generalist experience with depth across multiple channels (paid, content, brand, events, email, partnerships).
  • Proven track record of running campaigns end-to-end, from strategy through execution to measurement and optimization.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot, Webflow (or equivalents), and Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalents).
  • Strong copywriting skills with a keen eye for messaging, capable of writing for technical or skeptical audiences.
