Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for the servicing and repair of material handling equipment within your dedicated territory. You will utilize the latest mobile technology to manage your daily schedule, maintain inventory on your company-provided service van, and ensure a professional level of service for Australia's top-tier customer base. Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing and repair of material handling equipment in a dedicated territory and customer base
  • Utilize latest field-based mobile technology to manage daily work schedule
  • Inventory input on company-allocated service van and customer sites
  • Perform routine maintenance and complete service work – reactive & planned
  • Accurately maintain important service records of work performed
  • Conduct customer-focused scheduled and ‘breakdown’ services
  • Assist in the preparation of field-based quotes for customers
  • Record notes and file service records appropriately
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge, including emerging technologies
  • Partner with the Company to maximize additional sales and service across a dedicated customer base

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician highly regarded but not essential
  • Ability to perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
