Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Radiologist to join a leading public tertiary referral hospital in North Queensland, Australia. This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive remuneration package and is ideal for experienced specialists, including those trained overseas.

The hospital is a comprehensive, modern 320-bed facility serving a large regional catchment. It boasts a fully equipped, high-volume Medical Imaging Department with a wide range of modalities, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Interventional Fluoroscopy. You will be part of a collegial team, reporting across all imaging modalities and providing specialist consultation.

Key responsibilities include reporting, clinical advice, participating in quality and teaching activities, and contributing to after-hours on-call. The role offers significant professional challenge and variety, with access to Queensland Health's broader professional networks.
