Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HC Truck Driver to join our team and contribute to the efficient delivery of steel building products throughout Bunbury and its surrounding areas. This is a full-time position, operating Monday through Friday, with the potential for occasional overtime.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills across various aspects of our operations, beyond just driving.

Key responsibilities include safely transporting materials to diverse construction, residential, and commercial sites, along with performing manual handling and ensuring the secure loading and unloading of products. You will also be involved in picking, packing, and loading orders using forklifts and overhead cranes, and unloading products via HIAB.

Maintaining punctuality to meet deadlines while upholding the highest safety standards is crucial. Regular vehicle safety and quality checks are also a key part of the role, as is ensuring compliance with all Chain of Responsibility requirements.

We are looking for candidates who possess a valid HC Truck License and have a minimum of two years of driving experience. A forklift license is essential, and experience with HIAB (vehicle-mounted crane) operations will be highly advantageous.

The ideal candidate will be physically fit for manual work and may have prior experience in the building or manufacturing industries. Strong communication and customer service skills are a must, as is the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Highly desirable qualifications include a CV license, Dogman, or Riggers ticket.
