Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school, ensuring their well-being as the most precious cargo.
- Oversee student safety during boarding and exiting procedures.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee optimal vehicle safety and compliance.
- Assist with fueling and maintaining the cleanliness of the school bus.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and practices.
- Possession of a valid minimum full G class driver's license; a B class license is preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Maintain a safe driving record with no significant infractions.
- Ability to successfully obtain a clear criminal record search.
- Sound geographical knowledge of the Sudbury District and surrounding areas.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage routes efficiently.
- Flexibility to work split shifts that align with school transportation schedules.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting courteously with students, parents, school staff, and the public.
- Meet all required Ministry of Transportation (MTO) medical standards necessary to obtain or maintain a B license.

- Competitive hourly pay: C$25.00 for large yellow buses, C$24.00 for mini yellow buses, C$21.80 for minivans or other duties.
- Guaranteed minimum of 3.5 hours per day (Monday to Friday).
