Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Server to join our esteemed team in Grand Cayman. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional customer experiences, from greeting guests and taking orders to serving food and beverages with precision and care.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining a thorough knowledge of our menu, ensuring guest satisfaction, and handling transactions accurately. You will collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to guarantee seamless service and uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus and provide detailed information on menu items, specials, and beverage options.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely and efficient manner.
- Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any immediate needs.
- Maintain table cleanliness by clearing used dishes and cutlery.
- Process payments accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and tips.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar, and other service staff.
- Assist in preparing tables for large parties and special events.
- Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Perform closing duties, including cleaning and resetting the dining area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer-facing role is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Good mathematical skills for handling transactions.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail basics, is a plus.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
