Job Description
Zila Construction Limited is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join their team and manage on-site operations. This full-time, on-site position is crucial for ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
You will be responsible for supervising all construction activities, coordinating with stakeholders, preparing progress reports, and ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations. This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and building codes.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with the structural engineer, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and review construction schedules, work plans, and progress reports.
- Monitor construction progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control and safety compliance.
- Resolve any construction issues or delays promptly and efficiently.
- Document all site activities, changes, and incidents for record-keeping and reporting.
- Assist in budget management and cost control for the project.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in supervising construction of multi-story buildings.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural plans.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure
