Job Description

Regent Real Estate is actively seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to spearhead our residential development initiatives.

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, coordination, and oversight of residential projects from their initial conception through to successful handover. This includes interpreting architectural and structural drawings, developing detailed work programs, and ensuring strict adherence to project timelines and design specifications.

You will lead and manage site teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and within budget. Your responsibilities will extend to monitoring and controlling project budgets, resources, and procurement processes, as well as enforcing stringent health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards across all sites.

Effective liaison with regulatory bodies, such as LASBCA, for obtaining and maintaining necessary approvals is also a key aspect of this position. You will provide regular, insightful project updates to senior management and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee residential development projects from inception to handover
  • Interpret and implement architectural and structural drawings in line with design specifications
  • Develop and manage detailed programs of work, ensuring strict adherence to timelines
  • Manage site teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Monitor and control project budgets, resources, and procurement processes
  • Enforce health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards across all sites
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies including LASBCA to obtain and maintain necessary approvals
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and key stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 to 8 years' experience in construction project management, with a strong focus on residential development
  • Proven track record of delivering residential projects from planning through to buyer handover
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, quality control, and program of works
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • B.Eng., B.Sc., in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • COREN registration is required
  • PMP or CPM certification is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent
