Job Description

Africa Talent by Deloitte is seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant to join their team, focusing on Third Party Risk within the NOR division. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, purpose-driven organization that bridges talent needs between Africa and Europe.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for conducting thorough interviews, assessing critical policies and controls, and guiding junior team members. You will act as a vital point of contact for clients, particularly in SAP Audit projects, where you will meticulously test designs, implementations, and the operating effectiveness of relevant controls.

This position demands a strong understanding of SAP systems and a passion for advising clients on IT risk management. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform interviews, assess procedures, policies and controls as well as guide junior staff, and be an important contact person for the client.
  • For SAP Audit projects, you will be responsible for test of design, implementation and operating effectiveness for relevant controls in the SAP system following the global Deloitte methodology, in close cooperation with a manager and partner.
  • In your report you will give your client a good, solid advice that matches the risks of the organization, the people and their work ethic.
  • Related projects can be very diverse and vary from small scale engagements to long-term IT Audit projects.
  • You will get the opportunity to work on a variety of different clients to provide you with different experiences and learning opportunities.
  • Your responsibilities will increase fast as the learning curve is steep.

Qualifications

  • A completed university degree at Bachelor level (or equivalent) in data or computer science, accountancy, business administration, economics, information technology, or a similar business degree
  • Relevant work experience; ideally experience from an IT Assurance and/or Audit role
  • Experience with technical audits of different SAP platforms
  • A solid understanding of authorization concepts and access management in an SAP environment
  • Passion for advising clients in the area of IT risk management and technology
  • You have the ability to work independently, but also as a team player, with strong time management skills
  • You adapt easily to changing circumstances, as you enjoy facing new challenges every day
  • You are a strong communicator, analytical, proactive, and know how to tackle a problem
  • You are keen on having daily interaction and a close collaboration with the client
  • Result-oriented, stress resistant and can motivate a team
  • Managing, leading and supporting lower-level staff
  • Actively contributes to building the talent pipeline; creates a talent experience that attracts, develops and retains top talent and high performing teams
  • Fluent in writing and speaking English
