Key Responsibilities

Monitor and track outstanding invoices and overdue accounts.
Contact clients to negotiate repayment plans and ensure timely settlement of debts.
Develop and implement effective debt recovery strategies in line with company policies.
Maintain accurate records of all communications and recovery activities.
Prepare regular reports on debt recovery status for the CFO and management team.
Liaise with legal teams when necessary to initiate recovery actions.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Analyze payment trends and recommend improvements to credit control processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in debt recovery, credit control, or financial collections (oil & gas industry experience is an advantage).
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet recovery targets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with financial software.
