Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track outstanding invoices and overdue accounts.
- Contact clients to negotiate repayment plans and ensure timely settlement of debts.
- Develop and implement effective debt recovery strategies in line with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and recovery activities.
- Prepare regular reports on debt recovery status for the CFO and management team.
- Liaise with legal teams when necessary to initiate recovery actions.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Analyze payment trends and recommend improvements to credit control processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in debt recovery, credit control, or financial collections (oil & gas industry experience is an advantage).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet recovery targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with financial software.
