We are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Pediatrician to join a leading hospital in Oman, contributing to exceptional healthcare services for infants, children, and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive pediatric examinations and assessments.
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic pediatric illnesses.
  • Administer immunizations and educate families on preventive healthcare practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records according to hospital standards.
  • Participate actively in hospital rounds, case discussions, and continuing medical education.
  • Provide counseling and support to patients' families regarding treatment plans and health management.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or equivalent qualification in Pediatrics.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Oman or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience as a Pediatrician, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and excellent diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in medical record keeping and electronic health systems.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
