Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and execution of drilling operations in line with company standards and safety regulations.
- Support preparation of drilling programs, cost estimates, and technical reports.
- Monitor drilling activities and track performance against planned objectives.
- Coordinate with rig teams, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of drilling data, daily reports, and operational updates.
- Identify operational risks and support implementation of mitigation measures.
- Participate in post-well evaluations and performance analysis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) in Engineering (preferably Petroleum Engineering or related discipline).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis.
- Proactive with a strong sense of ownership, able to anticipate tasks, identify issues early, and take initiative in delivering solutions without constant supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
