Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Factory Engineer to join our manufacturing facility. This role is critical for maintaining the electrical systems and ensuring the seamless operation of our plastic production machinery, including blow molding and injection machines. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults, performing preventative maintenance, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and safety. Your expertise will be key to minimizing downtime and ensuring the reliable performance of all factory equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Detect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems on plastic production machines.
  • Repair electrical faults on all factory machines, including blow molding, injection, compressors, and filling machines.
  • Conduct regular and scheduled electrical maintenance on all factory operating equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Optimize electrical processes for reliable and efficient machinery use.
  • Attend to all electrical issues on any of the factory equipment promptly.
  • Contribute to improving productivity and efficiency through electrical system enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (BSc or B.Eng) or HND/OND in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a plastic manufacturing company.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and utilizing electronic technical skills.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems of plastic blow molding machines, injection machines, compressors, and filling machines is essential.
  • Living in or around Idimu, Ikotun, Ejigbo, Egbeda, Ipaja, Isolo, Igando, Iyana Ipaja is an advantage.
