Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections of electrical installations, including power distribution, lighting, and low/high voltage systems.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
- Identify and report any electrical defects, hazards, or non-conformities.
- Review electrical drawings and ensure installations match approved designs.
- Prepare accurate and timely inspection reports.
- Liaise with site engineers, contractors, and project managers to address inspection findings.
- Witness electrical testing and commissioning activities.
Qualifications
- Technical qualification or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical inspection on construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Experience with power distribution, low voltage, and high voltage systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
