Job Description

Unilever is seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Supervisor to oversee critical engineering operations at our Lagos facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage engineering teams, providing guidance and support.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of utility systems, including power distribution, HVAC, boilers, and water treatment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans for engineering initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes.

Qualifications

  • HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics).
  • 5–8 years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, project management tools, and MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of utility systems (power distribution, HVAC, boilers, chillers, water treatment, etc.).
  • Proficiency in engineering software and MS Office tools.
  • Familiarity with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
