Job Description

Unilever is seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Supervisor to oversee critical engineering operations at our Lagos facility.

This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our utility systems and manufacturing processes. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, driving performance and upholding Unilever's high standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage engineering teams, providing guidance and support.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of utility systems, including power distribution, HVAC, boilers, and water treatment.
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Develop and implement project plans for engineering initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes.

Qualifications

HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics).
5–8 years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and safety standards.
Proficiency in CAD software, project management tools, and MS Office.
Strong knowledge of utility systems (power distribution, HVAC, boilers, chillers, water treatment, etc.).
Proficiency in engineering software and MS Office tools.
Familiarity with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
