Job Description
Alpha Mead Group is seeking a proactive and experienced Facility Manager with a strong Civil Engineering background to lead the efficient operation and maintenance of our residential and corporate facilities.
In this vital role, you will be instrumental in upholding the highest standards of facility upkeep. Your responsibilities will include managing technical operations, overseeing vendor performance, and ensuring seamless service delivery to meet and exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management and maintenance of residential and corporate facilities.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities across building infrastructure and systems.
- Manage hard and soft facility management services, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Supervise and coordinate technical teams, artisans, and contractors to ensure quality service delivery.
- Conduct routine facility inspections and condition assessments to identify maintenance needs and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and asset management plans for facility infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the managed facilities.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate contractor performance to ensure cost efficiency and service quality.
- Prepare and manage facility budgets, cost reports, and maintenance forecasts.
- Respond promptly to client requests, complaints, and emergency facility issues.
- Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, reports, and facility performance metrics.
- Support business development initiatives by providing technical input for new facility management opportunities when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in facility management, managing residential and corporate facilities.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, structural maintenance, and facility operations.
- Experience managing technical teams, vendors, and contractors.
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance planning and asset lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of HSE standards and regulatory compliance in facility operations.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management systems is an added advantage.
