Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Facility Supervisor to ensure the seamless and efficient operation of our premises. This role is pivotal in maintaining the physical integrity and security of our facilities, directly impacting the productivity and well-being of everyone on-site.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing personnel and equipment, managing maintenance schedules, and ensuring all operations align with company standards and regulatory requirements. Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee personnel and equipment to ensure efficient facility operations.
- Manage the maintenance of the physical premises and security of people.
- Work with minimal or no supervision and take own initiatives.
- Implement effective facility management procedures and adequate time management.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure safe and appropriate activities.
- Execute opening, closing, and securing of facilities, checking for safety and maintenance concerns.
- Educate and guide participants on proper facility usage.
- Enforce and ensure compliance with all established policies and procedures.
- Ensure product safety during storage and material handling.
- Maintain facility records for compliance with company standards and regulatory agencies.
- Supervise, plan, and schedule the work of craft workers and vendors (e.g., HVAC, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters).
- Maintain records of materials used and order/purchase new materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/OND/HND in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or Management.
- 5 years of experience in a facility supervisor position or in building construction, maintenance, or repair work.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Knowledge of the operations, services, and activities of a facilities maintenance program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package, including Outlook.
