Job Description

The WAAW Foundation (Working to Advance Science and Technology Education for African Women) is seeking a dynamic Partnerships & Fundraising Manager to spearhead our efforts in securing vital funding and cultivating strategic alliances. This role is critical for driving our mission forward, enabling us to expand our reach and deepen our impact in providing STEM education to women across Africa. You will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, building robust donor relationships, and crafting compelling proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships.
  • Identify and secure local & international funding opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong donor relationships.
  • Write grant proposals, funding applications & reports.
  • Coordinate fundraising initiatives and collaborations.
  • Support program sustainability and growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field.
  • Master’s degree (MBA/MSc/MA) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in fundraising/partnerships.
  • Strong proposal writing and communication skills.
  • Experience working with NGOs or donor-funded programs.
