Job Description
Bayse Markets is seeking an experienced and visionary Design Lead to shape the aesthetic and functional quality of our prediction market and trading platform. You will be the guardian of our design standards, ensuring consistency and excellence across product interfaces, brand identity, marketing collateral, and all user touchpoints.
In this pivotal role, design is not merely superficial; it is fundamental to building user trust, ensuring clarity, driving conversions, and fostering long-term engagement. You will define how users perceive and interact with Bayse, empowering them to act with confidence and trust in our platform's credibility.
We are looking for a natural design generalist with strong leadership acumen, capable of setting a clear direction while maintaining an exceptionally high bar for execution. You will establish and maintain our visual and interaction standards, build scalable systems for consistent delivery, and lead the end-to-end design of key product and growth surfaces across web and mobile.

- Set the design direction: Establish and champion a clear design vision aligned with our goals and values, ensuring our brand is represented consistently across every touchpoint.
- Build the foundation: Create and maintain a robust, scalable brand system and guidelines to ensure cohesion across product, digital, print, and marketing channels.
- Shape product experiences: Drive user-centric product design across web and mobile, leading the creation of intuitive interfaces, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Deliver world-class creative: Oversee and contribute to high-impact visuals, illustrations, motion, and layouts across our website, app, social content, and campaigns.
- Lead and grow the team: Mentor and support designers, set a high bar for craft, and create an environment where people can do their best work.
- Partner cross-functionally: Work closely with leadership, marketing, product, and engineering to translate business objectives into strong design strategy and execution.
- Run feedback loops: Collect input from stakeholders and users, and refine designs while balancing creative excellence, usability, and business goals.
- Stay ahead: Keep up with design trends, tools, and emerging tech to bring fresh ideas and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in design, including 2+ years leading, mentoring, or managing designers.
- A strong portfolio showing brand, graphic + product design execution (bonus if you also show marketing and motion work).
- Proficient with Figma and Adobe tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Motion skills are a plus.
- Strong grasp of UX/UI principles and the ability to balance aesthetics with usability.
- Strategic thinker with a sharp eye for detail and a high standard for craft.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, you can explain design decisions clearly and collaborate smoothly.
- Comfortable owning multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing what matters.
- Knowledge of prediction markets, trading, or designing financial asset experiences (order books, charts, positions, portfolios) is a strong plus.
- Experience in sports, gaming, fintech, or consumer apps is a plus (but not required).
