Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic HR Business Partner to join our team in Lagos. In this Manager-level role, you will serve as the primary HR strategic partner for our business units, playing a crucial role in aligning people strategies with organizational objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass the full recruitment lifecycle, managing client interactions, addressing employee relations matters, and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions. You will also be instrumental in designing and conducting engaging town hall meetings, both virtually and in-person, to maintain alignment and foster a connected workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the go-to strategic HR partner for the company's business units.
  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process for all sites.
  • Handle client audits and visits.
  • Manage disciplinary issues.
  • Maintain and optimize HR operations.
  • Design and run frequent town halls (virtual and physical) for alignment and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or HR certification is a plus).
  • 5-7 years of strategic HRBP experience, preferably in logistics, outsourcing, manufacturing, or a fast-scaled environment.
  • Proven track record as an HR Business Partner with exposure to employee relations and client-facing projects.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable with HRIS and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities; able to influence senior leadership and clients.
  • Excellent leadership qualities.
  • HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SC, PHR, ACIPM) is required.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and work flexible hours when needed.
