Job Description

Rayda is seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to lead our global HR initiatives. This role is crucial for nurturing our remote-first environment and ensuring a positive employee experience across all stages of their journey with us. You will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle, from attracting top talent to managing performance and facilitating smooth offboarding processes.

Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing HR policies that comply with international labor laws, with a strong initial focus on Nigeria and other key operational markets. You will champion Rayda's values, promote a culture of inclusion and engagement, and design programs that enhance team well-being and productivity. Partnering closely with leadership, you will contribute to organizational design, workforce planning, and strategic change management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle for all team members worldwide, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Champion Rayda’s values, promote inclusion, and design initiatives that enhance team engagement, well-being, and productivity.
  • Maintain and adapt HR policies to ensure compliance with local labour laws across multiple countries, starting with Nigeria and key operational markets.
  • Partner with leadership and hiring managers to identify talent needs, manage global hiring processes, and maintain a strong candidate experience.
  • Implement performance review cycles, career growth frameworks, and learning & development initiatives.
  • Track and analyse HR metrics to inform decisions and improve retention, engagement, and team performance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on organisational design, workforce planning, and change management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR/People roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or function-lead capacity.
  • Proven experience supporting remote or distributed teams across multiple countries.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour law; familiarity with global HR compliance is an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with cultural sensitivity.
  • Highly organised, process-driven, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is a plus.
