Job Description

Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a qualified HSE Officer to join their team in Kano and ensure the highest standards of health and safety on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and risks.
Develop and deliver safety training programs.
Investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with all local and international safety regulations.
Prepare and submit HSE reports.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry as an HSE Officer.
Relevant certification in Health, Safety & Environment (NEBOSH or equivalent is an advantage).
Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to identify hazards and implement preventive measures.
Strong attention to detail and leadership skills.
