Job Description
beehiiv is seeking an experienced Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer to build out the core hosting and deployment platform for our main application on AWS. You will be responsible for migrating our application from Heroku and have the opportunity to build out our MLOps infrastructure. Candidates in the Western Hemisphere or Western Europe are strongly preferred. If you have a proven track record of building robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure, we encourage you to apply.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Build out and manage AWS infrastructure, including EKS, EC2, ALBs, IAM, VPCs, S3, Route53, etc.
- Provision and manage cloud Kubernetes clusters using tools like Helm.
- Architect and design CI/CD pipelines from code to production.
- Build MLOps infrastructure for automation, deployments, versioning, monitoring, and scaling.
- Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., DataDog, Prometheus).
- Design and implement fault-tolerant, highly available, and scalable architectures.
- Migrate the main application from Heroku to a self-hosted AWS platform.
Qualifications
- Experience in an engineering role (Infrastructure, SRE, DevOps, Cloud Engineering).
- Experience building and supporting projects using AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes at scale.
- Experience architecting and designing CI/CD pipelines.
- Some experience building MLOps infrastructure.
- Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and alerting tools.
- Understanding of fault tolerance, availability, scalability, and disaster recovery principles.
