Job Description

The Candel FZE is seeking a motivated Graduate Trainee with a specialization in Analytical Chemistry to join our team in Lagos. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct chemical analyses using standard laboratory equipment and apparatus.
  • Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring its proper functioning.
  • Support quality assurance processes and adhere to regulatory policies (NAFDAC, SON).
  • Prepare samples and reagents for analysis.
  • Record and document experimental data accurately.
  • Contribute to report writing using Microsoft packages.
  • Work effectively with minimal supervision and under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of BSc. Second Class Upper in Analytical Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry.
  • Aged not more than 30 years old.
  • Must have analytical skill and mindset.
  • Must be familiar with and able to handle basic laboratory equipment/apparatus.
  • Good knowledge of Quality Assurance (ISO) and familiar with regulatory policies, standards/specifications (NAFDAC, SON).
  • Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision and under pressure.
  • Good PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Must be flexible in approach to work and shift patterns.
