As a Reporter, you will be instrumental in uncovering exclusive news and cultivating strong relationships within the US institutional investor community. This role is perfect for a journalist eager to build their financial reporting expertise while working for a globally recognized media brand.
You will be expected to actively pursue news leads, conduct interviews with industry executives, and develop a robust network of contacts. Your responsibilities will include staying abreast of investor activities, analyzing financial documents, and crafting compelling news stories from various sources.
Working within a fast-paced editorial team, you will meet daily deadlines to ensure subscribers receive timely and actionable intelligence. You will collaborate with colleagues across the globe to track investment decisions made by major institutional investors.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Break daily news on institutional investors
- Build relationships among the investor community by working the phones, pitching interviews, and attending industry events
- Stay on top of wider industry trends impacting hedge funds, private markets and traditional asset managers
- Travel occasionally to cover industry conferences and build contacts
Qualifications
- Financial reporting experience and/or journalism training and a desire to build a career in financial/business journalism
- Ability to break exclusive news and write compelling and insightful analysis
- Analytical and interested in working with data
- Good networking skills and a track record of developing contacts and sources
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Understanding of investing, wealth management and asset allocation strategies
