Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lab Supervisor to lead our field laboratory operations. This pivotal role ensures the highest standards of technical service and compliance within the energy sector.
As a Lab Supervisor, you will be instrumental in managing all aspects of laboratory functions, including team development, staffing, workload optimization, and adherence to stringent Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining department costs while upholding operational excellence.
You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of testing and procedural standards to guarantee that laboratory operations consistently meet industry testing protocols, company best practices, and all audit requirements. This includes troubleshooting complex technical issues and ensuring a superior level of service quality to support local field operations effectively.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all facets of a field laboratory operation, including employee development, staffing decisions, workload volume, technical projects, HSE policy, and department costs.
- Ensure laboratory compliance with industry testing protocol, company best practices, and audit requirements using knowledge of testing and procedural standards.
- Interface with PSLs and customers to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Maintain a high level of service quality in the laboratory to support local field operations.
Qualifications
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in the sciences.
- Five years of laboratory experience.
- Competence in multiple PSLs is often required.
- Management of one or more laboratories may be necessary depending upon the scope of a district.
