We are seeking a highly skilled and commercially astute lawyer to join our esteemed Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment practice group.
In this pivotal role, you will provide expert legal counsel to clients across Nigeria's vibrant and expanding creative industries. This includes advising on a comprehensive range of intellectual property and commercial matters within the film, music, digital media, and advertising sectors.
This position offers significant exposure to complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions and the invaluable opportunity to collaborate with leading legal professionals in Nigeria.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients across Nigeria's growing creative industries on a wide range of IP and commercial matters.
- Handle complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions.
- Work alongside leading legal minds in the field.
Qualifications
- Minimum Post-Call experience between 2019 – 2021.
- Prior experience in a top-tier law firm or specialized IP practice is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable experience advising clients in the music, film, media, or creative industries.
- Solid understanding of Nigerian IP legislation (Copyright Act 2022, Trademarks Act, Patents and Designs Act) and relevant case law.
- Familiarity with international IP frameworks (WIPO, TRIPS, ARIPO) is an advantage.
- Experience with content licensing, music publishing, distribution agreements, or talent representation is a plus.
