O&CO Law is seeking a skilled and proactive Mid-Level Lawyer with strong litigation expertise to join our team in Ikeja. The ideal candidate must be confident in handling court matters independently and delivering high-quality legal representation.
In this role, you will be responsible for representing clients in various dispute resolution forums, drafting essential court processes, motions, and briefs. You will conduct in-depth legal research, prepare sound legal opinions, and manage case files diligently to ensure timely filings and court appearances.
Furthermore, you will provide strategic legal advice to clients and liaise effectively with courts, clients, and relevant regulatory bodies. Your ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines is crucial for success in this position.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court and other dispute resolution forums.
- Draft court processes, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare sound legal opinions.
- Manage case files and ensure timely filings and court appearances.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients.
- Liaise with courts, clients, and relevant regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- LL.B and B.L qualification (must be called to the Nigerian Bar).
- Minimum of 5 years’ post-call litigation experience.
- Proven courtroom experience and strong knowledge of court procedures.
- Excellent drafting, advocacy, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Must reside in or around Ikeja (proximity to location is very important).
- Available for immediate resumption.
