Job Description
Pivotage Consulting, on behalf of its client, is actively seeking a highly motivated Intermediate Associate Lawyer. This role is crucial for providing specialized technical, strategic, and procedural advice across a broad spectrum of legal and commercial matters.
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in litigation, offering sound legal guidance, diligently managing cases, and effectively representing clients. Key responsibilities include advising on corporate governance, shareholder and director issues, investments, banking, and financial transactions, all while ensuring strict adherence to applicable regulatory frameworks.

- Provide technical, strategic, and procedural advice on a wide range of legal and commercial matters.
- Offer sound legal guidance in litigation.
- Manage cases diligently.
- Represent clients effectively.
- Advise on corporate governance, shareholder and director matters, investments, banking, and financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks.
Qualifications
- Degree in Law with a 2:1 or above.
- At least five (5) years of post-qualification experience with a reputable firm.
- Proficiency in IT (Google Workspace, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new tools.
- Strong commercial awareness and logical reasoning.
- Commitment to the firm’s success and alignment with its values and ethos.
- Excellent interpersonal, team-working, and stakeholder management skills.
- Articulate, confident, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Innovative, proactive, and able to implement strategies effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining productivity.
- Flexible to work outside normal office hours when required.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and demonstrates trust, loyalty, and professional integrity.
- Master of Laws (LLM) will be an added advantage.
- Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) certification will be an added advantage.
