Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Lead Treasurer to spearhead our treasury operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of cash, liquidity, and foreign exchange exposure, ensuring the financial health and stability of our organization. You will also play a key part in navigating regulatory landscapes and cultivating strong partnerships with our banking and settlement counterparts, both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the organization's cash flow and liquidity positions.
- Develop and implement strategies for foreign exchange exposure management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including CBN regulations.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with banking partners and settlement institutions.
- Oversee and improve settlement operations across various corridors.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations on treasury matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6–12 years of experience in a treasury or treasury-focused role within financial services, banking, fintech, or payments.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multi-currency liquidity, FX exposure, and settlement operations.
- Proven track record of working effectively with Nigerian banks, offshore partners, and FX liquidity providers.
- Solid understanding of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulations pertinent to Payment Service Providers (PSPs), International Money Transfer Operators (IMTOs), and FX operations.
- Professional certifications such as ACT, ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent are highly advantageous.
