Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our Production department in Ikorodu, Lagos. This role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of our production equipment and facility systems. You will be responsible for executing comprehensive preventive maintenance programs, performing timely repairs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and support efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical faults and execute timely repairs.
Ensure minimal production downtime by responding promptly to breakdowns.
Keep accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports.
Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards within the production environment.

Qualifications

HND / BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years hands-on maintenance experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
Experience with production machinery, utilities, and troubleshooting techniques.
Basic understanding of health, safety, and maintenance best practices.
