Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lagos. You will be responsible for carrying out essential electrical installations, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs on factory machines and equipment to ensure the smooth and continuous operation of our production lines.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of industrial electrical systems, machine maintenance, and fault diagnosis. You will play a critical role in minimizing machine downtime and ensuring the overall efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults promptly, and installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical wiring, panels, motors, and control systems. You will also conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and respond quickly to machine breakdowns and production emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on factory machines and equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and resolve them promptly.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, panels, motors, and control systems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of OND, Technical Certificate, Trade Test, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years relevant experience in factory machine maintenance and electrical work.
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and machine repair.
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and preventive maintenance practices.
