Job Description
Honeywell is seeking a highly skilled Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Tempe, Arizona. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between product development and integrated supply chain operations, ensuring that new products are designed for cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and yield.
As a key member of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) team, you will lead initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, drive innovation, and achieve operational excellence. Your contributions will directly enhance productivity, elevate product quality, and ensure superior customer satisfaction. You will report to the Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of new manufacturing techniques and technologies.
- Evaluate conceptual and development designs for cost, quality, manufacturability, and yield.
- Manage Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) items to align with Integrated Product Delivery and Support (IPDS) goals.
- Develop and manage Unit Product Cost (UPC) models to meet Flawless Launch and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) objectives.
- Ensure product designs benefit from APQP artifacts such as PMAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, and PPAP.
- Verify that products incorporate Flawless Launch artifacts including DFM Scorecard, Heat Map, PRR, and MRA.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Sourcing to identify suppliers capable of meeting capacity, cost, and capability targets.
- Identify and manage capital needs for new product assembly, testing, and tooling.
- Drive adherence to IPDS for all Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) related items.
- Lead Cost Take Out (CTO) efforts and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Champion DFX (Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, Test, Lean) activities.
- Predict and manage Product Rolled Throughput Yield (RTY) efforts to achieve Aerospace RTY goals.
- Facilitate Production Readiness Reviews and manage associated Phase 5/C action closures.
- Interface with Production Cells to ensure smooth production transitions.
- Provide necessary ISC artifacts for IPDS Phase 2/A proposals.
- Manage AME/ISC scheduling, planning, and budget in coordination with Program Management.
- Understand, manage, and achieve AME HMR hardware delivery program milestones.
- Ensure IPDS adherence for ISC items through Phase Exit Criteria Assessment (PECA) check sheets.
- Achieve ISC Program Milestones, maintain IPDS metrics, and deliver status presentations.
- Support AME HOS activities, including standard work definition and tiered MOS accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering, Program Management, or Integrated Supply Chain.
