Job Description

We are seeking skilled Mechanics and Electricians to join our team and ensure the continuous availability and reliability of heavy-duty equipment essential to our project sites.

In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive maintenance and repair programs for a wide array of gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles and heavy-duty machinery. Your expertise will be key in improving equipment uptime and ensuring all work meets stringent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings to ensure clear understanding of maintenance activities and HSE requirements.
  • Oversee the repair, overhaul, and modification of vehicles and equipment.
  • Proactively ensure the availability of required spare parts to improve mean time to repair.
  • Guarantee the quality of work meets required standards and improves mean time between failures.
  • Execute effective predictive and preventive maintenance programs to minimize unscheduled downtime.
  • Perform maintenance and repair on gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles and heavy-duty equipment (trucks, cranes, tractors, excavators, bulldozers, generators, etc.).
  • Utilize hand tools and test equipment to diagnose and repair worn or faulty parts.
  • Identify and procure standard parts and replacement items using manuals and specifications.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, overhaul, and repair of various passenger cars and trucks.
  • Conduct maintenance and repair activities on heavy equipment including trucks, excavators, bulldozers, graders, cranes, and backhoes.

Qualifications

  • Trade Test/SSCE, HND, or B.Sc. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of Heavy Duty Equipment.
