Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Factory Engineer to join our dynamic plastic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our critical production machinery, including blow molding and injection machines. Your expertise will be vital in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, as well as in developing strategies to enhance production processes, increase efficiency, and optimize energy consumption. This position offers a unique opportunity to take full responsibility for the daily operations of factory machines and contribute to business growth by acquiring new clients.

Key Responsibilities

Detect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plastic production machines.
Operate and maintain plastic blow molding and injection machines, compressors, and filling machines.
Repair electrical and mechanical faults on all factory machines.
Optimize production processes for reliable and efficient machinery use.
Ensure compliance with industry standards.
Suggest improvements to increase productivity and efficiency, and optimize energy use.
Conduct regular and scheduled maintenance on all factory operating equipment.
Address all mechanical or electrical issues on factory equipment promptly.
Take full responsibility for the daily running of factory machines.
Acquire new customers for onboarding.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (BSc or B.Eng) or HND/OND in Mechanical Engineering.
A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a plastic manufacturing company.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and utilizing electronic and mechanical technical skills.
Familiarity with operating plastic blow molding machines, injection machines, compressors, and filling machines is essential.
Living in or around Idimu, Ikotun, Ejigbo, Egbeda, Ipaja, Isolo, Igando, Iyana Ipaja is an advantage.
