Work on Climate (WoCl) is seeking a dedicated Mentorship Team Lead to guide our volunteer efforts in building a climate-positive future. In this vital role, you will lead a team focused on delivering impactful mentorship programs, including our Expert Office Hours and SME initiatives. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering knowledge exchange, strengthening professional networks, and demystifying careers within the climate sector. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage volunteer team members to achieve quarterly objectives with high standards.
  • Oversee the Expert Office Hours program and other mentoring initiatives.
  • Measure the success of Mentorship programs and report to the Leadership team.
  • Continuously improve shared frameworks and program design.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive environment for the mentorship team.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing projects and/or people.
  • 5+ years of experience in program design and implementation (e.g., Learning and Development, community management).
  • A 'founder mindset' – proactive and willing to learn new skills to achieve goals.
  • Dependability and a willingness to take ownership.
  • Excellent individual and group communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with and lead people of diverse backgrounds and communication styles.
