Job Description
Embark on a creative journey with Google's Brand Studio as a Motion Designer, contributing to the iconic Google Doodles. This 6-month fellowship offers hands-on experience, blending contemporary design aesthetics with technical expertise in motion, 3D, and traditional animation.
You will leverage a diverse toolkit to solve animation challenges across a broad spectrum of visual styles, and you'll be comfortable experimenting with AI technology to support your process. Your projects will range from independent contributions, such as GIF animations for Doodles, to collaborations with a larger team on short-form videos.
This role requires a conceptual approach to projects, demonstrating versatility in developing original artwork, animating within existing creative assets, and executing designs that cohere with established systems. Fellows will be employed as freelancers via one of Google’s staffing partners.

Required Skills

- Support the Google Doodles team with motion design.

Qualifications
- 0-5 years of experience in motion design.
- Proficiency in motion graphics software.
- Experience with 3D and traditional animation techniques.
- Familiarity with AI technology in creative processes.
- Strong conceptual thinking and design skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Work authorization in the United States as of June 2026.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to commit to a full-time, six-month contract (mid-June 2026 – mid-December 2026).
- Living in the city of application (New York, NY).
