Job Description

WEBIT Services is seeking a highly skilled Systems Network Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this senior technical role, you will be instrumental in executing project deliverables, ensuring customer requirements are met with the highest standards of quality.

Your responsibilities will include the technical implementation of systems and networks, meticulous documentation within Autotask, and upholding stringent quality assurance measures. You will manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines and maintain clear, professional communication with clients regarding site visits and project progress.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the initiation and execution phases of projects, providing critical technical insights and developing detailed project plans. You will be responsible for executing technical tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring successful project finalization and handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute technical tasks and deliverables for customer projects.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure requirements are met and deliverables are of the highest standard.
  • Serve as project lead when necessary, managing other engineers and taking on additional responsibilities.
  • Perform technical implementation, including system configuration, installations, and integrations.
  • Ensure all work is thoroughly documented in Autotask, including task details, time entries, and technical notes.
  • Update and archive outdated documentation as necessary.
  • Maintain the quality of deliverables by adhering to established standards and best practices.
  • Efficiently manage time and tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Accurately log time entries and track progress in Autotask.
  • Inform clients of necessary site visits and ensure they are prepared.
  • Provide technical insights during the project initiation phase.
  • Assist in defining the project's technical scope.
  • Develop detailed technical plans, task breakdowns, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor technical performance during the execution phase.
  • Finalize projects and ensure tasks are completed, documented, and handed over to the customer.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in a Systems/Network Engineer role, leading and managing projects.
  • Strong command of professional and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good working knowledge of quality assurance measures.
  • Excellent knowledge of Meraki Servers, Switches and Cables.
  • Ability to follow established guidelines and standards to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • History of thorough technical documentation writing.
  • Good knowledge of Autotask.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • A desire to learn and stay on top of industry trends, tools, and best practices.
