Job Description
Avant Tech is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager to lead and optimize the operations of its E-commerce, Fintech, and EdTech divisions. This is a critical on-site role based in Yaba, Lagos, focused on driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the efficient achievement of company goals.
In this position, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing business strategies, overseeing daily operations, and fostering sales growth. You will also play a key role in financial management and team development, ensuring synergy across departments and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies aligned with company goals across all divisions.
- Lead strategic planning sessions with departmental heads.
- Identify opportunities for expansion, innovation, and market competitiveness.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment and synergy between departments.
- Supervise and manage daily operations across Digital Media, Customer Care, Sales, Marketing, and Academics.
- Oversee business processes and implement operational improvements for efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor departmental performance metrics and provide actionable feedback.
- Ensure smooth coordination among teams to achieve business objectives and KPIs.
- Drive business growth through strong sales strategies, customer acquisition, and market penetration.
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance to ensure targets are consistently achieved.
- Support marketing and digital teams in planning effective campaigns to boost revenue and brand awareness.
- Assist management in preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
- Track revenue streams, control expenses, and ensure cost efficiency across departments.
- Evaluate profitability and recommend initiatives for financial improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate departmental heads to achieve excellence and accountability.
- Foster a positive work culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and performance.
- Identify training and development needs for team growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
- Represent the company in strategic meetings, presentations, and business negotiations.
- Provide timely updates and reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in business management or senior sales leadership roles.
- Strong background in E-commerce, Fintech, or EdTech (Academy) sectors is highly desirable.
- Proven record of driving sales growth, managing diverse teams, and optimizing operations.
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing, customer engagement, and performance management systems.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
