Job Description
Mikano International Ltd. is seeking an experienced Automobile AC Technician to join their team in Lagos.
This full-time role is responsible for the diagnosis, repair, servicing, and installation of air conditioning and climate control systems in vehicles. You will ensure optimal cooling performance while adhering to all safety and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of automotive AC systems, refrigeration principles, and be proficient with diagnostic tools. A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience is required.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in vehicle air conditioning systems.
- Service, repair, and maintain automotive AC systems and components.
- Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, hoses, and related components.
- Detect and repair refrigerant leaks using appropriate testing equipment.
- Recharge and recover refrigerants in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on vehicle AC systems.
- Test electrical circuits, relays, thermostats, sensors, and control units related to air conditioning systems.
- Replace defective compressors, fans, belts, filters, switches, and other AC components.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
- Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and job reports.
- Advise customers on AC system maintenance and repair requirements.
- Keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of automotive technology, refrigeration, air conditioning repairs.
- 1-2 Years of proven experience as an automotive AC Technician.
- Proficiency in AC system diagnostic tools and equipment
- ND. Technical Certificate, Trade Test, or Vocational Training in Automotive Technology, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or related field
