GAIN is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate, Policy Engagement to join our impactful organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and influencing nutrition policies at various levels. This includes conducting research, engaging with policymakers and stakeholders, and advocating for evidence-based nutrition strategies to improve public health outcomes.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of nutrition policies and identify opportunities for engagement.
- Develop policy briefs, position papers, and advocacy materials.
- Engage with government officials, parliamentarians, and other key stakeholders to promote nutrition agendas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant organizations and networks.
- Represent GAIN in policy forums and working groups.
- Monitor policy developments and provide timely updates and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Public Policy, Public Health, Nutrition, International Development, or a related field.
- Significant experience in policy analysis, advocacy, and government engagement, preferably in the nutrition or health sector.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Nigerian policy landscape is an advantage.
