Job Description

Women United for Economic Empowerment (WUEE) is actively recruiting for a Nutrition & Food Security Officer to contribute to the impactful THRIVE Project. This role is central to implementing essential community-based initiatives aimed at improving nutrition and food access for vulnerable populations.

As a Nutrition & Food Security Officer, you will be responsible for executing nutrition assessments, leading outreach activities, and facilitating vital nutrition education sessions. You will also play a key role in supporting livelihood programs and monitoring key indicators to ensure project effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Community Health, Agriculture, or related field
  • At least 2 years’ experience in nutrition or food security programming
  • Strong community mobilization and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work across rural communities
  • Knowledge of local languages within the project LGAs is an added advantage
