We are seeking a dynamic Procurement / Business Manager to oversee critical operations within a leading mining company based in Ikeja, Lagos. This role is instrumental in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and commercial success of our mining projects.
Your responsibilities will encompass planning and designing mines, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations. You will be involved in the extraction and processing of minerals, operating and maintaining essential equipment, and conducting thorough site inspections.
This position requires a strategic thinker capable of designing and implementing mining projects that align with safety, environmental, and economic considerations. You will also be responsible for analyzing data, preparing reports, and verifying survey information, alongside identifying innovative solutions for outsourcing materials.

- Leadership, team management, and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify and resolve issues
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the mining industry
- Prior experience in the mining industry
- Ability to identify quality materials with high percentage of lead composite
- Procurement planning and sourcing experience
- Negotiating contracts and pricing experience
- Good analytical and reporting skills
