Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team, playing a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and managing procurement activities.

The ideal candidate will ensure all procurement aligns with project specifications and budgetary requirements, contributing to the successful execution of construction and design projects.

Your responsibilities will include planning and coordinating procurement activities, sourcing reliable suppliers and contractors while ensuring compliance with company standards.

You will evaluate quotations, prepare comparative analyses, and recommend cost-effective options to optimize project expenditure.

Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and service providers will be a crucial part of your role.

Maintaining accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and supplier databases is essential for efficient operations.

Ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services to project sites will be a key performance indicator.

You will monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to agreed terms, working closely with project managers and site engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and manage procurement activities for construction and design projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying (mandatory).
Professional certification or membership (e.g., NIQS) is an added advantage.
2–5 years relevant experience in procurement, construction, or project management.
Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract management, and procurement processes.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement documentation tools.
High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to details.
