Job Description

OkHi is seeking a visionary Product Manager to spearhead the launch of a groundbreaking new product. This role is integral to defining the product's vision, validating customer needs, and driving it from initial concept through to a successful market entry and revenue generation.

You will be instrumental in understanding the problem space, building and managing pilot programs, and iterating based on valuable feedback. Your responsibilities will include engaging with strategic customers, developing go-to-market collateral, and working closely with design and engineering teams to bring the product to life.

This position demands a deep understanding of the Nigerian fintech landscape, requiring operator-level fluency in how these organizations operate, build, and launch products. You will collaborate directly with the CPO and work alongside the Sales team to propel OkHi's next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify key Fraud & Credit value propositions and craft hypotheses to match customer needs, conduct interviews to validate, and work with designers and engineers to deliver.
  • Run pilots as commercial engagements, not just experiments - define success in revenue, usage, and drive go/no-go decisions based on commercial traction.
  • Manage multiple pilot projects in parallel, run the project management and coordination, keeping teams and customers aligned on delivery timelines.
  • Build direct customer and partner relationships in the Nigerian market by staying close to buyers, uncover real commercial pain, and translate it into product direction.
  • Own go-to-market for a new product line: pricing, positioning, messaging, launch planning, and the GTM playbook that makes each pilot repeatable.
  • Define and track commercial and product metrics that guide launch decisions and feed into case studies and sales enablement.

Qualifications

  • Direct experience working inside a Nigerian fintech or bank (required): in a product role. You have existing relationships, understand the regulatory environment, how they work, and how they buy.
  • 8+ years in product management, including direct experience taking new products to market and working hand-in-hand with BD or Sales.
  • You’ve launched a B2B product before: ideally, one where you owned or co-owned GTM: pricing, positioning, first customers, and the playbook that followed.
  • Technically strong and AI-first: you’re comfortable shipping AI prototypes and are technical enough to make code changes and ship them live.
  • Commercial mindset. You understand how deals get closed, develop pricing and business models, and know the difference between a pilot that’s learning and a pilot that’s selling.
  • Strong BD and partnership orientation: comfortable in customer conversations, able to shape commercial offers, and happy to roll up your sleeves on partnership execution.
  • Excellent customer discovery and qualitative research skills, and you know how to identify a real buying signal.
  • Data-informed decision-making and comfort running structured experiments.
  • Strong project management across parallel workstreams: multiple pilots, multiple customers, multiple stakeholders.
  • High-agency, self-starter who prototypes and automates with AI to move faster.
  • Exceptional communication and comfort working remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits & Perks

  • Internationally competitive salary
  • Healthcare
  • Stock options
  • Flexible remote working with an international team
  • Opportunities for professional development as we scale globally
