Job Description

Join Honeywell as a Quality Engineer II and become a vital part of our Commercial Aviation team. In this role, you will be instrumental in upholding the highest standards of quality, ensuring customer satisfaction, and optimizing our quality management systems and processes.

You will collaborate directly with customers to understand their unique quality requirements and proactively address any issues or concerns that arise. Your strong problem-solving abilities and expertise in quality engineering will be key to driving continuous improvement and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

This position reports to the Quality Manager and is based at our Clearwater, FL location. You will significantly impact the overall quality of our products and services, working with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues, implement effective corrective actions, and enhance our processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their quality requirements and address any issues or concerns
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams
  • Conduct AS9100 internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain site supplement for Cabin Management System/Commercial businesses to ensure quality management systems and processes are up-to-date.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality engineering or related roles
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
